House News

It appears we are finally under contract on a great house on top of a hill.  The house has a panoramic ocean view, lots of windows and lots of trees.  The word dream house is an understatement.  The fact that we are under contract this house shows that dreams and hardwork can come true.  However, this house has not been updated in 50 years.  There is only cupboard/wardrobe on the whole top floor.  Some people would be discouraged, I feel excited.  Its a blank canvas that we get to create.

Welcome to the Treasure Box

I am brand new to blogging, but not new to collecting treasures.  When I was 5 years old, I had an old small suit case of my mothers that I started filling with pictures that I cut from magazines.  I collected these pictures of clothes, toys and pretty women with the hope that one day I would be a pretty women wearing those clothes. 

As I grew older, I started collecting physical posessions.  I collected shells, china masks and ballet shoes, and had a stamp collection consisting of butterflies and cats.

Fast forward to today, I collect perfume bottles and colored glass and vases.   I think my biggest problem is probably collecting too much and I am learning to grasp the concept that less is more.

We are about to purchase a new house, a fix me upper, and I though this would be a great place to post my design dilemms. dreams and inspirations.  So welcome and I am always open to ideas and suggestions.
